Attorney Amani Hanson
Attorney Amani Hanson is the principal and founder of Hanson Reproductive Law Firm, and has devoted her career to representing surrogate mothers, intended parents, donors and agencies as legal counsel through the process of building unique families. With nearly a decade of experience in the field of fertility and third-party reproductive law, Amani has represented clients worldwide in surrogacy, egg and embryo donation arrangements. Amani has become a recognized expert in the legal field of reproductive law with over 1,200 surrogacy case matters. Now exclusively practicing in her realm of expertise, Amani is dedicated to using her knowledge to help guide clients through the legal and insurance aspects of fertility law.
Amani plays an active role in various organizations within the Fertility Law community; she currently serves as Chair of the Legal Professionals Group under the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Prior to opening Hanson Reproductive Law Firm, Amani was the Senior Associate at Vorzimer Masserman – Fertility & Family Law Center.
Attorney Amani Hanson graduated from Texas Tech University, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry prior to attending law school. She was awarded a Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award from the National Institutes of Health for research in the study of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and has been published in the Journal of Neuroscience Methods. Amani attended Rutgers School of Law and School of Business – Camden, where she completed a J.D./M.B.A. dual degree program and began practicing law.
Amani has assisted hundreds of clients – intended parents, gestational carriers and donors – in the process of family formation and legal arrangements; she is patient, personable and professional and is incredibly passionate about helping clients feel comfortable during such an intimate and personal journey.

Paralegal Samantha Espinoza

Originally from Los Angeles, joined Hanson Reproductive Law in 2022 as a Paralegal. Samantha graduated as a Certified Paralegal/Legal Assistant with high honors and was listed on the Dean’s List for high achievements from Charter College in 2013. Samantha is currently attending Western Governors University to earn her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources. Aside from her academics at the university, she was selected and invited to be a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) where Samantha works with fellow chapter peers and industry thought leaders to excel in her leadership skills. Prior to joining Hanson Reproductive Law, Samantha worked at Vorzimer Masserman – Fertility & Family Law Center as a Legal Assistant for 4 years where she assisted the legal team in Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Assisted Third-Party Reproduction matters. It was there that Samantha began working alongside Amani Hanson on many third-party reproductive matters. Samantha found great pleasure in working with Amani, helping clients build their families. Currently, at Hanson Reproductive Law, Samantha continues to provide Amani with administrative assistance and day-to-day operations of the firm and its wonderful clients. Samantha is fluent in Spanish and in her free time enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
